We started Provium because we watched businesses make the same impossible choice over and over: verify your customers properly, or protect their privacy. You couldn't do both.
The industry's answer was always “collect everything, encrypt it, hope for the best.” But encryption doesn't eliminate risk — it just moves the target. Every passport scan on a server is a liability waiting to become a headline.
We built Provium to prove there's a better way. Identity data stays with the person it belongs to. Businesses get cryptographic proof that verification happened — without ever touching the raw data. The result is faster onboarding, lower compliance burden, and a breach surface that is dramatically smaller.
We're not building another identity database. We're building the infrastructure that makes identity databases unnecessary.
